Medikin is what is commonly known as an Application Service Provider (ASP). An ASP is a service provider which maintains all hardware and software required to run a particular client-oriented application. Medikin is in particular a Transcription Application Service Provider [TASP].
Founded in 2000, Medikin, Inc. Medikin’s TASP model effectively digitizes of the speech-to-text cycle, audio dictation recording, file routing, workflow management and document distribution. We are located at 55 Broad Street in the New York Information Technology Center, New York City's premier wired building with redundant cable entrances and fiber optic capacity to most of the major telecom providers.
